Product search only works on the home page

I have the Phoca Cart Search Module enabled. When I search from my home page, it brings up the products, but if I click on any other menu button and then search, it searches and says "No Items Found." This makes no sense to me.

- I have the latest 4.0 stable version installed.
- I have "Load Component Media" set to "Yes"

Hi, what do you exactly mean with "other menu button"?

Jan, If I search anywhere else on the site, other than on the home page, the search comes back empty. It works fine on the home page, but not on any of the product or category pages.
I have now added some other pages to the site, like about and blog pages, and the search works on them - it is just the other Phoca product and category pages that it breaks on I guess.

Jan, I had to get the site live, so I took the search off the other pages since it was not functioning and I could not find a solution.

OK, so if you have some possibility to test it on test server, see the Javascript console when searching - to test if there are no Javascript errors which can prevent from running all the Javascript features on the site.
