Download Directly on the Category View Layout

Hi there,

I have a list of files in the category. Is it possible to have the file do one of the following:

1) Open in a new browser window where they can preview it and then download OR

2) Rather than just automatically download, it prompts them as to where to save it that way they can find it easily afterwards.

Hi, I don't understand the question exactly, but there are in fact following options:

1) if you will set direct link to download the file, then the browser of user decides if the file will be downloaded immediately or displayed in browser

2) you will not set direct link and leave standard Phoca Download behaviour, then Phoca Download will try to force the downloading of the file like it does (in 99,99% this is successfull as this is standard operation). For preview of the file then there is button for preview which lets user's browswer decide how to display such file.
