Hello
I set Joomla's URL rewriting system on "ON", but it doesn't work as I would like to.
All links are now https://mysite.org/my_menu/SOME-CATEGOR ... d=id:title
The problem is, SOME-CATEGORIE is one of my PhocaDL categories (the one with the smallest ID value - so the "forst" category Joomla found in the database) which is not the main one - so the link created is confusing.
Can I set this ? Or can I tell to Joomla to not rewrite when it is about PhocaDL ?
Regards,
Antoine

Re: Phoca Download and Joomla's URL rewriting system
Hi, which Joomla version and which Phoca Download version do you use?
Did you create a menu link to Phoca Download?
One or more? If more, can you disable them all except one - the one to categories view? When you have only one to categories view, do you get the same problem?
See demo (such way it should normally work):
Categories view:
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phoca-download-demo
Category view:
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phoca-downloa ... -documents
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phoca-download-demo/2-files
Each category has own URL.

Re: Phoca Download and Joomla's URL rewriting system [SOLVED]
Hello,
(Joomla 4.2.4 and PhocaDL 4.0.4)
you're RIGHT ! I had several menus pointing to several categories. When I unpublished all of them EXCEPT the one pointing to PhocaDL categories root (view of all categories), everything was immediatly back to normal as a charm.
So now we know the problem comes from the fact that Joomla url's rewriting system is lost with several PhocaDL menus.
Just to be sure I got it : I have to recreat all links pointing to a specific category NOT with PhocaDL menu but with URL menu, right ? Joomla's rewriting system needs only ONE menu link to the root, not to be lost, is that correct ?
Thanx a lot for your answer, and double thanks for all your amazing extensions and your excellent work. Phoca rules !! I mention it with a backlink on all the websites I am using it (example here : https://upbm.org/site-association/mentions-legales).
Best regards,
Antoine

Re: Phoca Download and Joomla's URL rewriting system
Hi, yes, the best way is to create only one menu link - to categories view and if needed a link to category view, making it with URL directly (copying the link fromt the tree and paste it as absolute link in menu manager)
