Hi there,

I have just discovered Phoca Cart and installed it on my site.

Before I'm spending too much time with it, I would like to know, how it is possible to create a new order in backend. This would be very essential to me, but I'm missing the button "New Order"

I would be pleased if you could lead me to a way to create orders.

Also nein, diese Funktion gibt es meines Wissens in Phoca Cart so nicht. Aber interessehalber erklär doch mal, wofür Du diese Funktion in einem Onlinshop benötigst. Das ist ja quasie das Gegenteil von einem Onlineshop, der ja normalerweise Aufträge im Frontend generiert. Oder habe ich Dein Anliegen irgendwie missverstanden?

BTW, there is one way how can administrator or shop owner or vendor create an order. It is not in administration but it can be done in POS.

POS is here to make orders in your brick and mortar store next to your onlineshop. Technically it means, some vendor will just create an order for customer.

So if you look for making an order as vendor/administrator, POS can do that - not in administration but in specific area in frontend - in POS view.

So the question is in fact the same as Benno ask. What is the purpose to do order in administration? If the need to make order as vendor/administrator for your customers, you can use POS, if another, please let us know?

first of all, many thanks for your swift reply!

The reason for my question is that I have an online shop, however, quite a number of my sellings are "tailor made", i.e. the customers approach me for a specific configuration of the shopping items.
In this case I usually created an order (with JoomShopping up to now) in the backend.

I will try out POS and will revert.

I've tested POS but regrettably it doesn't meet my needs. So I have to find another solution for this specific requirement.
