for my site www.andalu.nl I have uploaded a favicon since a long time, but even after months the favicon is not showing up in Google results, what am I doing wrong?

Hi, which template do you use? Some templates like Cassiopeia use very confusing and complicated system for displaying favicon, so unfortunately even Phoca Favicon creates favicon and replaces it on right place, Joomla Cassiopeia sends to the browser even own SVG favicon which is used by some browsers or services:

I am actually using Cassiopeia, should I replace something in the links you have posted from the index.php ?

Your suggestion works but there is a but, what happens when Joomla sends an update?

Hi, unfortunately no idea, if Cassiopeia has some way to change these links e.g. per override, so it will be not lost when updating. This is much more a question on Joomla developers.
