Re installing Phocacard

As I have some problems with "Add to basket", I plan to re-download the component and re-install it without delete previous one from my site before
My question is : if I do it, will I loose all the products and catégories I made before ? Or will I have to re-do everything from the beginning ?

Hi, it depends on which action you will do:

- if you uninstall the component - you will lose all data
- if you only install new component over the current - then it is update and you will not lose the data

That's what I plan to do, just reinstall the component without uninstall previous one.
Hope this will fix the bug I have
