I am in the process of migrating a J3 site to J4/J5. A colleague did the migration of both Joomla and Phoca Gallery. It works, but instead of only the root categories being shown, now all subcategories are shown on the one page.

We've both gone through all the settings we can to see what the issue might be without any success. Any ideas?

Hi,
check: backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Categories View Settings -->
and set:
Display Subcategories=No
Display Empty Categories=Yes
