Show all product variations in shop

Hey guys,

I have a webshop with a cookingpan. This pan has attributes for color & size. It shows up nicely and I can choose the variations.

What i'm wondering now is if it is possible to show all variations of this product as separate products in the shop, but when selecting one that you do have the option to change the attributes.

Example;
I see a shop with a white pan 30cm, white pan 40cm, black pan 30cm, black pan 40cm.

I click the white pan 30cm, the detail page opens with 30 cm & white preselected. Now I do have the option to change to black or 40cm.

Hi, in fact, it depends on you, which structure of shop you will build

- you can add each variant as separate product, then you can assign them via e.g. related products. So e.g. you can display somehow related products on product page
- or you will do only one product with product variants (attributes) and all the related products will be in fact one product with different attribute options. Then your visitors, when visiting a product, can change it per select box.

I have opted for the second option, to set all this at one product with attributies, but I was wondering if it is possible to display all variants as if they were separate products as well.

If this is possible I could use the related products for other products instead of for the same product in different variants.

If you use the variants, then there are no different products listed, e.g. in category view, but each variant can have own URL, so such "different" products can be accessible per links:

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to add this to the consideration of what way to go.
