How about your own independent product?

Hi Jan, are there any plans to make your own store engine that won't depend on Joomla? These constant Joomla updates create problems and errors, and you have to adapt to them...

Hi, unfortunately, this is not possible. The advantage of Phoca Cart is, it is completely based on Joomla with all its methods and all its behaviour (this is of course problematic by Joomla updates but for people using Joomla, this is the best solution as the shop solution works the same way like Joomla). Of course, if Joomla core developers change essential router functions in minor versions, it is already very problematic, but this is something users need to make feedback to Joomla developers that they should not break backward compatibility rules).

Hi Jan, oh, it's a pity, there are very few independent and worthy engines on the Internet, this dependence is essentially endless, with each update you need to adjust all your products. Thanks for the answer and good luck!

P.S. Maybe someday you will change your mind.....

:-) It is not about chanding my mind. The extension is completely build on Joomla (including all the infractructure like plugins, login, mvc, etc.). In fact it is not possible to somehow extract it.
