Hey Jan,
I now made the strategic decision to migrate from J2Store to PhocaCart. Currently I am developing a products migration tool for us, as we have dozens of individual features which will most probably fail in any commercial available migration tool - I belief I am about 50% there...

Anyway, while creating my first products, I noticed that the selection of manufacturers is sorted by ID. I would find it much more convinient, if this dropdown list is sorted alphabetically by title (i did not find that piece of code right away in your component).

One of the last steps of our migration will be the development of a payment plugin for the austrian payment system "eps Überweisung" (this here is just some kind of announcement about this).

But I need to congratulate you on this extension - I try to to become not too overwhelmed by it... If you do not mind, I will post my findings here for you to consider or not (smile).

Ordering of Manufacturers: All this is managed by Joomla rules, so manufacturers are ordered by ordering. You can order them by your needs in administration:



Then the list is displayed based on this ordering:
