Hi,
I cannot see any files in the menu items 'Iist of files (category)', not even with Super User rights.
Let me say that I do not use public access, as the purpose is to organize a paper review:
- In a first time phase, authors (ACL Registered) can upload files, but no none, except for editors (ACL Special) can see all these uploads for now. Files have Special Access rights to avoid that Registered users (members) can see them
In a second time phase, these files will be made available to a selected, authorized 'Downloader group'.
The list of categories works and also shows files, most downloaded files etc.
The list of files is completely blank, though. No headline, no category, nothing. Even if I set all to public, files do not show in the List of Files,
Categories are Public, files are Special, Owners are from the Registered group
It used to work some years ago but I changed something I am afraid. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Files do not show
Hi, you need to go through all the possible rights and check it (access, access group), check if the files are published, if the category has right access rights (e.g. even the category is protected, it will be displayed in case the file list is displayed with parameter: display even not accessible files).

Re: Files do not show
strange...
I have 2 categories with the exact same access settings (I believe...), but under 'List of Files' I see all the files of only one category. Even as a Super User. In category view I can see all categories and all files.
A gave to all files the same access settings. The only difference to me is the ownership of the files and the names of the users that uploaded them. - Can the ownership make a difference for viewing rights?
Any ideas?
