Did you install the Phoca Gallery component?

I am having the same problem.
It would not install, then blocked me from the front page. says Phoca gallery is not insatlled, but it won't insatll it!!
Help!

Hi, did you install the component? Was it correctly installed? If not then it needs to be installed before using plugin, see:

Thanks jan.
My internet kept dropping out before the upload/install was finished. I got someone with a better service to install it for me.
Now, How do I get the slideshow to work?
On my front page I have a pic but no slidehow.
I am new to this..LOL.
my web tech says he has never had any luck getting the slideshow to work, so he can't help.
Any ideas?

Hi, which slideshow you mean? Do you mean the plugin or slideshow in component?
