The ability to allow users to upload photos from the front end is one of the main reasons I selected Phoca Gallery for my site.
I am still a little puzzled why I can select "All Registered Users" but there is no option for selecting "All Special Users" when enabling the Upload and Add User rights. I have about 40 authors on my site, and selecting each author for each category is quite tedious. Please consider adding the option for selection all special users as a future feature.

Re: Upload User Rights uploads for "special" users
Hi, special users are administrators, mostly in administration. Is there a way you will set the users in frontend as registered only?
if the user is speacial, he can make the upload in admin
if the user is registered, he can make the upload in front, so you can set "all registered"

The whole ACL will be changed because of modifications in Jommla! 1.6Please consider adding the option for selection all special users as a future feature

Re: Upload User Rights uploads for "special" users
I guess with the changes 1.6, I will just have to wait and set them all manually for each category. My authors have "author" and "publisher" access, so they have more acces s than registered users, but do not have access to the back end.
