Hi Jan

I have downloaded phoca gallery 2.6.0/phoca image module 2.6.0 and upgraded form version 2.5.8. Now the link from the random image ("Zufallsbild" on the left side) to the detail image does not work (error 404); the same error occurs, when I choose "link to category" in the module-settings.

But when I open the menu to the phoca gallerys ("Fotoalben" in the Mainmenu), the link works well....

In the previous version 2.5.8 everything worked well.

Hi, it seems like the module cannot find the menu link to your gallery, try to recreate menu link to gallery (go to menu manager, menu link to gallery - categories and click on save the menu link)

Thank you for the hint, but it did not help.

-- When I choose the Menu-Layout "Category List", the link from the random image to the detail image works. (!)
-- When I choose the menu layout "Gallery Layout" (which I want), the link fails (error 404)
-- When I click first to the Phoca Gallery ("Fotoalben"), then the link works...

Observation, that could help:

At the random image on mouseover, you can see the url in the browser-status bar at the bottom. It is:
"..../component/phocagallery/...(category-folder/subcategory/image)"

instead of

"..../category-folder/subcategory/image" (this would work...)

Clicking first th the phoca gallery ("Fotoalben"), mouseover at the random image, you see the correct url in the browser-status bar at the bottom.

With the previous version I never had such a problem.

Thank you for your help - but the problem is the same.

I have a menu link (named "Fotoalben", Gallery-Layout). I have recreated the menu link, I have de-installed and re-installed the module.... but nothing helps.

The module does not find the folder of the image...

The next step would be completely re-install Phocagallery. But this is a lot of work....

Is there a possibility to downgrade Phocagallery from 2.6.0 to 2.5.8? I think, that would be the best solution for the moment. Can you give me a download-link to Phocagallery 2.5.8? With this version everything was perfect...

I have downgraded phocagallery. Now I need to downgrade the random image module too. Can you give me a downloadlink to the previous versions of the "random image module" . I don't remember the version of the random image module, which I had, but it must be a previous version to version 2.5.7 beta.

Problem resolved.

It was my fault... I did not set the menu-link to the compinent correctly... Finally your FAQ did help.
