How do I get my web site back

I am using Joomla 1.5.15
I was looking for a slideshow module. I downloaded phoca gallery slideshow. from reading the forum posts I must not have installed correctly.
I clicked on the menu item and got "Phoca Gallery Error - Phoca Gallery is not installed on your system". It has locked me out of my website.
How do I get my website back on line.
Itried uninstalling phoca gallery from the administration panel but it would not let me do that.
I tried reinstalling and thet did'nt help.

Hi, did you install the component or only the plugin. The plugins needs to have installed the component in the system.

Took me all day to figure it out.
I was downloading from joomla extentions, different slide show modules to find one that worked.
Phoca loaded in the admin page but not on the web site some how it locked the whole website in an error code.
I went to Phoca.cz and looked for downloads there. I found 3 different modules which I downloaded. After I uploaded "Phoca install" my site was back on line.
Still working on learning Phoca

I went through the same problem.
I now have phoca and it is showing an image on the front page but no slide show.
How do I get ti to go into the slideshow mode?
I have tried every item in the "order" menu but nothing works.
Any tips?
