Hello, maybe its a silly question but I can´t center the map. Its always on the page´s left side. Its ok with the text above or below. So I dont know what it could be. Thanks

Hi, try to check your template, you can set the full width of the map so then it will be over the whole content

Hi Rodrigo,

what Jan wants to tell you - many of such errors are due to the template used. Please try one of the default templates delivered with Joomla and see if the error persists. If not it is because of the template you are using.

thank you ronny but iam sure its not the template because I can center anything else. I had the same problem with "mosmap" plugin and i've sent the message to the developers and they changed the code and solved the problem. The thing is that I prefer to use phoca maps.

Sorry Rodrigo - but even if you are sure for yourself noone else can be sure if you don't try it. So I ask you to try it with one of the default templates. Only then someone knows where to look for the error.
BTW - I had similar problems some time ago which were for sure due to the template, where everything else worked but the alignment of the map.

Hi Ronny, I´ve tryed on the plain templete and it worked fine as you said, but how do you explain that its working with the other plugin?? I dont know where to start to look. This guys from mosmap sent the plugin with the new code and it worked right away. Any ideas?? thank you very much for your time and help again.

thanks for the feedback - so we know it's due to something within the template.
The other plugin may use other stylesheets than Phoca does so this may be the reason. Which css definitions you have to look at is best answered by Jan 'cause I don't know which are used internally by Phoca Maps. I think it would be helpful if you could post a link to your site where the error occurs.
A hint to find the css yourself: for Firefox there is a plugin named Firebug - this is able to display the css definitions used (among others). Unfortunately I didn't use Firebug myself until now so I can't exactly tell you how to work with it - but it shouldn't be too complicated.
