Hi to everybody,

I am trying to use Phoca Maps on my Joomla website.

However, I get the following error when I try to create a new map:

"Error while saving Map(s)"

I have set the API code into configurations parameters, but it seems not working.

Some can help me please?

Hi, check if the tables of Phoca Maps component was installed in your database, compare your database with install.bak file which you can find in ZIP installation file.

It seems the component didn't installed the Tables of Phoca Maps. How can I solve this problem?

I get this error:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in J:\xampp\htdocs\visitmontaione\libraries\joomla\database\database\mysql.php on line 344

OK, I have solved this problem.

I have uploaded manually the tables into the joomla database. Than I have changed the prefix #_ into jos_ and now everything is working.

I only have a last question: Is it possible to load the map into a popup window? maybe I need a plug in to do it? Does someone already done?

Yes, this is possible with the Phoca Maps plugin. Using this plugin you can insert a map directly into your article, or insert a link which opens the map in a popup window. The documentation for the plugin you'll find here.

I had the same problem. I uninstalled the PhocaMaps and reinstalled it again.
Then, after it was installed, I clicked on the big button "Install" (looks that this button will install the database.
I think kindly that the Phoca guys should put a note about it on that screen.
It is a great extension. It works right out of the box. Thanks guys.

Hi, upgrade function works normally, but not in developement versions which are assigned for testing only.

So the first version is 2.0.0 Stable, after this version the upgrade will upgrade the database too.
