Hi I have installed 1.7.1, but when I try to link to the galleries via the menu, only two options are available to me:
Phoca Gallery

* All Categories
o Phoca Gallery Category List Layout
* Category
o Phoca Gallery Category Layout

Where is watermark? and slideshow?

They do not appear in the Components menu either.

I am wondering if it has not actually installed correctly...?

The slideshow doesn't have own menu, it is displayed after user click on an image:
