Global colors in 1.8.0 Alpha

With newest 1.8.0, my colors in Parameters --> Global Configuration do not seem to work. Default colors remain no matter what values I enter and save.

Made changes and used friend's computer to verify this is not my local cache.

The colors parameters are overwritten by Parameters Component in Menu link:

So a new Menu link does not copy the Global color settings when it is created?

I am creating the Menu link after changing Global color settings.
