I feel like an idiot asking this, but I just can't seem to get this to work - am I missing some critical piece of documentation or something? The doc at https://www.phoca.cz/documentation/categ ... -component doesn't really say much, would be great to have a "How to create your first PDF using Phoca" article.
- I have TCPDF installed and verified as working
- I have the content plugin enabled
- When I go to Components > PhocaPDF > Plugins, I can edit the header/footer no prob
After installing PhocaPDF, isn't the PDF icon just supposed to work for any article I click on?
Any help MUCH appreciated, I am sure it is just one small thing I am missing...
Mike

Re: Having trouble getting started
After installing the PhocaPDF stuff, shouldn't the regular PDF icon (that is built into Joomla) change into the PDF icon as displayed on https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phocapdf-demo?
Again, I am sure it is something simple I am missing. I am somewhat disappointed in the lack of documentation / setup guides.

Hi, remotelyyours!
What you forgot to do.
You have at http://www.ispw.com/ all the 3 Joomla SEO settings ON in global configuration:
Search Engine Friendly URLs Yes
Use Apache mod_rewrite Yes
Add suffix to URLs Yes
So go to Components - Phoca - Plugins - PDF (tab) - SEF (Add Suffix) Enabled:
Set it to Yes (.pdf)
Press save below.
Now it works!

Note, to work the link must look like:
http://www.ispw.com/the-company/news-a- ... ations.pdf?format=phocapdf
