Hi!

To begin with.. nice gallery Will donate IF i get everything work in a smooth way!

I can't understand the structure of the components filestorage layout

In the component if you go to (example)

"Categories --> categoryname" then you have something says "User Folder:" I'w uploaded a folder called "kol001" (containing around 20 jpg images) in /images/phocagallery/ and selected it in "User Folder" field..

Do i HAVE TO go back in to Menu Option "Gallery" and then hit "Multiple Add" to add the files and then pick a caregory to put them in? that makes no sense at all to me?

Is there anyway to FTP upload a folder and then just choose that folder in a category that i'w created and then the thumbs are created on_the_fly by Phoca Gallery?

Hope you understand what i'm trying to do.. I'm no champ with the english language

Hope there is a smooth way to add images, creat thumbs and so on.. Thanks for taking the time making such a nice looking gallery dude!

User Folder - this is only the setting for frontend upload, for current category.. Here you set, where the uploaded images should be stored if some user (who have rights to upload in the current category) uploads an image (in the frontend)...

FTP - this is the best way how to upload images in Phoca Gallery (you will create the folders and images on your disc, then you will upload the folder structure into your server, then you go to multiple add click 'save'... All images will be added, all folders will be transformed into categories, all subfolders will be transformed into subcategories - only by one click)

See User Manual (I am not champ in English too, so the manual can be understandable because of easy English which is used )

Now i can start building my gallery i think..
