Excellent component, but I have a couple questions.

1. Is there a way that when the menu item for the gallery is clicked it is directed straight to the slide show instead of the thumbnails?

2. Can the list of previous uploads be cleared without deleting any thumbnails or images when in the multiple add menu?

1 no - there are 4 methods how to display detail image:

2 - the list in multiple add is the list of images stored in your server, if you add new images, just select all to multiple add them into the gallery and only new will be added...

Thank you for the quick response Jan.

I have multiple categories setup so when I add multiple images for a different category there are still thumbnails for the previous category, which if i select all to add they get added to the wrong category.

so you must upload the images into the folders (categories)... this is only the list of original image filenames on your server... so if you don't have them uploaded into the folders, you cannot use the whole folder, you must select the images...

So you are saying to upload the files using ftp to

.../phocagallery/categoryname/filesgohere.jpg

e.g.:

.../phocagallery/categoryname/filesgohere.jpg

it depends on you, which folder structure (category structure) you will make
