Do you get the Install x Upgrade installation view?

Hello Jan,

no, there is nothing about upgrade.

One additional information: my site was moved from my provider to another server because on the old server I had only PHP 4.3.11. On the old server I tried to install the component too, but of course with an error.
Now I have PHP 5.2.x and I actually made the upgrade to PHP 5.2.x only because of your gallery components.

Here the whole text I get:

JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected

Unable to find install package

I would be very happy if you could help me.
I also tried version 1.8.2 of your component. Exactly the same error message.

Thx in advance

Hello Jan,

I solved it!!! I tried to install another com and got the same error. This indicated to me that there was something wrong with my config and nothing with the com.
I had a wrong configuration for the temp and log folder path.
I had /var/log instead of var/www/web3/log and /phptmp instead of ....
