Hi all,
I've implemented Phoca Gallery on my site, but I can't figure out 1 thing.
I've got a blogstyle page with news articles. (picture below)
What I would like to do is make 1 article that shows some text (in the blog). Then when you open the article I would like to show the text AND all the pictures from 1 gallery (including the paging).(picture below)
Instead of adding a link at the bottom of the text to go to a new page with the gallery. (picture below)
Can anybody help me?
add gallery to an article

Re: add gallery to an article
Hi, just find the link into your gallery and paste it into your article as link

Jan, thanks for your reply. But won't that create just a link to the gallery page (which i don't want)?

Re: add gallery to an article
Hi,
you have two options:
Or you create an article and add all the pictures of one category to that article. So no pagination
Or you create an article with a link to the gallery. I suggest you name that link 'lees meer' (so the readers don't see the difference). Don't add a read more link in your article.
Then you add the text you want to display with the pictures to the category description. So the text of the category descriptions is probably duplicated (in the article and in the category description).
I hope both solutions are clear (I would choose the second, if I had a lot of images in the categories)
Regards, Carolien

Re: add gallery to an article
Hi Carolien,
Number 2 is just what I was doing now. But the downsite of this approach is that I can't put in any meta-keywords so the picture page does not show up in the "related articles" section . Any help?

Hi Joortje,
You could add metatags to the short article, so the pictures don't show up, but the link to them does.
