How to install a language extension ?

Post by poudou99 »

Hi

I am a new user of Phoca Download. I've just installed it and tested it. It's a good component and it corresponds what I searched for.

But I am little bit lost when I've tried to install the French language extension using the usual Joomla menu (extension -> Managment -> installation). It has failed saying that the XML file was not found. So I suppose there is another way to install it directly from the component but I did not find it. Where I am wrong ?

(sorry if the question had already raised)

Hi,
Thanks for this quick and useful answer.
However I have transfered the 2 files (extracted from zip file "fr-FR.com_phocadownload.zip") into the joomla directory ./language/fr-FR/ but the wording is still in english.
Certainly I missed something
Best regards, Poudou

Hi,
perhaps you took the wrong translation. This is the right one:

Good. I've downloaded this Zip file and that works now.
Thank you very much.
Merci.
