If you login in GameWorld.gr and then click on any file here:
http://www.gameworld.gr/gamecore/downlo ... ll-manager
You will see that you can't download anything. The page is just refreshing. Why?
I use Joomla v3.8 and Phoca Download v3.1.2.
Thanks.

Re: Downloads are not working...for no reason
Just Joomla v3.8. I might lose some custom work if I upgrade to Joomla 3.8.3
1)I tried to install through the Extensions Manager. The installation is loading indefinitely!
2)I tried to install it manually through FTP.
Where is that "front" folder? It's nowhere in the .zip file!
Fix those instructions so that we can install the module.

I started by copying all files in the "/components/com_phocadownload" folder and now I have a blank page, while before the component was working. I had to put the old folder back.

Hi Manos,
You should also update template, framework etc. "Custom work" means? CSS changes etc. could be done in e.g. custom.css.
Usually there is no problem to install via Joomla extension update.
Kind regards
Christine
There were some bug fixes and security releases also.

I think, that the database is not updated.I started by copying all files in the "/components/com_phocadownload" folder and now I have a blank page, while before the component was working. I had to put the old folder back.

Did I upgrade? Because I think the wrong version is written here:

Also you didn't reply to my question.
I tried to install it manually through FTP.

Hi,

But you must have overlooked:
Above 'The following guide is obsolete.' you find:
BTW: Christine, Jan & myself do this whole project in our freetime, beside an 8 hour job each day. So if you are not satisfied with the quality of this product or the support, perhaps it is better to use an other (paid) download component from an other (paid) developer and (paid) support team.
Thank you for understanding & kind regards,
Benno
I think, you followed the right column of this guide:I tried to install it manually through FTP.
Where is that "front" folder? It's nowhere in the .zip file!
