Phoca download link is wrong

Greetings, I have a weird problem with the download option, while preview works perfectly fine for some reason the download option doesn't work. Clicking on the title of the file doesn't work either. I tried activating the "direct link" option on the settings but same problem, so any idea how to fix the issue with the different download link?

Hi, try to disable SEF for test only. Does it work when SEF disabled?

If you mean setting off "Search Engine Friendly URLs" from global configuration just tried it, doesn't work either :-(

preview button works fine when SEF off too, it uses the direct link, isn't there a way to use the exact same link on download button?

ps. I cannot leave SEF off permanently because it will mess with all the website's links which have been shared.

Ok, I see the link without SEF but the link when clicking on button is still a SEF link so really hard to say what can be wrong there? Do you use some specific SEF solution?

No only the joomla setting, I am trying to keep my joomla as clean and simple as I can.
Do you think admin access would help you?
