Invalid Token. File Not Found.

Well i tried 3.1.5 and 3.1.6
SEF on and OFF
URL rewrite on and off
cleared caches between all tries
no difference

so most probably the cause of not being able to download via unique link must lie somewhere else

i'm getting this error: 404
View is niet gevonden [name, type, prefix]: phocadownload, html, phocadownloadView
A view is not found, so i made a menu item public but not published, else it would appear in the menu.
but this seems not to help...
edit:
made a new menu item Download view->display file to download via unique link. But you can't set this public! you don't want others to see it. But anyway it's not working either.
Direct file link also not.

Hi,

Unique download link feature is a specific method how to provide a download link for users. Every file in Phoca Download can have a specific unique token and user can access this file only in case he/she knows the token. In fact, this is an alternative method to access rights used for downloading a file.

it's not clear what point you are trying to make.
Are you saying it's only for registered users? If so it is not correct because:

Hi Christine,

sorry no you did not say it, i was asking if it was that what you where pointing at.
Anyway, i get a little step further, that is:
i created a hidden file view, so what i now get is an invalid token error.
Even if you click on token, it creates a new token. Then hit save.
then try in an other browser to open the unique link (copy/paste) then it says Invalid Token.
Tried it few times now.

any idea?

Hmmz downloaded and installed the older 3.1.6 version but no.... still the invalid Token... So it must be the updates of joomla itself that broke it...

Hi, I will try to check the latest Joomla! version, what was changed there, maybe there were some changes regarding this.
