Phoca Download and PHP 8.0

I updated my website to PHP 8.0 and Phoca Download no longer works, even with the latest version
Is there a fix for this or do I need to keep PHP 7.4 on the website until I upgrade to Joomla 4?

Hi, yes, if you run some of the latest PHP, you should also run some of the latest Joomla - Joomla 4. I think last Phoca Download version for Joomla 3 was written before 8.1 so it should not be compatible with 8.1. But it should work with PHP 8 - can you enable debug mode and displaying of PHP errors to see which error do you get there? But even we find the problem, it is recommended to use PHP 7.4 on Joomla 3 and migrate to Joomla 4 where Phoca Download is ready for PHP 8.1.
