0 class PhocaCartCategory not found!

Post by Robx8361 »

Good morning. I updated the site to joomla version 4.3.0 and PhocaCart version 4.0.6. It happens that in a simple page containing a link to a category of the product catalog the answer is "0 class PhocaCartCategory not found". Until version 4.0.5 everything worked perfectly and the link, to the indicated Category, correctly returned the pointer. Now it doesn't work anymore and I have no idea what has changed...

I attach the screenshot of what is returned in debug mode...

Hi, I don't see full error message on the screenshot, can you paste here screenshot with full message and the trace? (full message including file and line where the problem occurs)

Thank you, Jan

This is the screenshot that gives me back the link I described in the previous message (forget the background image)... if I activate the system debug it returns the screen I already sent... I'm still here... all of this runs on a copy of the site... the official site works because it is not updated to 4.0.6...

Hi, which template do you use? When you switch to standard one and enable debug mode, you should get standard error message which tells:

- what is the error
- in which file it is located
- on which row it is located

(including the trace)

Can you switch to standard template (Cassiopeia - only for getting full error message) and enable debug mode, so the error message is full?

BTW: what view is this: "simple page containing a link to a category of the product catalog" - is this inside Phoca Cart, categories or category view?

Thank you, Jan

Hi Jan,

I followed your suggestion of changing the Template (shaper-helixultimate > Cassiopeia) and activating site debugging... the result is identical to the screenshots I've already sent you... it doesn't change a line...

regarding this, "simple page containing a link to a category of the product catalog"... The page is a simple article written in Joomla (now 4.3.0) and the product category name contains the link to the product category of phocaCart... url /product-categories/specific-category... up to phocaCart 4.0.5 it works fine... updated to phocaCart 4.0.6 it gives the error I indicated...

Hi,

"The page is a simple article written in Joomla (now 4.3.0) and the product category name contains the link to the product category of phocaCart"

... if this is an article, maybe the problem comes from some module listed on the same site like the article - which module (Phoca Cart module) is active there (and which version)?

What do you mean with "usual nick"?

Jan

Hi, the joomla article form is "Single Article"... the link to the Phoca Cart Product Category is very simple text linked to the specific Product Category... anything else... like this...

My "usual nick" is Robx61 but I can't log in anymore...
