Hello,
I have everything set-up and working just fine. Today I had a transaction and upon conclusion, Paypal sent the "Complete" as expected and the email was sent, Download File was enabled and the customer downloaded the product.
Now, since that transaction I have gotten 12 emails with the same sale information, and the email says "A Sale Was Made" along with the details of the same transaction as earlier.
The System Logs show User "Anonymous" in various transactions from "Completed" to "Refunded" and it just seems a mess.
The last system log that comes with a user name attached shows that the info was sent to paypal. The very next log in the chain, shows:
"Order status changed to: 6(Completed), User: Anonymous"
I am stumped, and at this point my site is spamming about every hour.
Thanks,
Nerdy

Hi, do such emails belong to one order ID? Can you share log information about the requests? Did you set sending emails for all the different order statuses?
Are the logs about sending info from PayPal, or about making order from your site (if making order from your site, can you see such orders? Is guest checkout disabled?)

Re: Paypal keeps firing completed
Hi Jan,
Thank you for your response.
The repeated emails and log entries belong to one order ID, although there was only one transaction.
I have researched this further since my original post. I ran through a complete purchase and everything worked seamlessly.
The person that made the original purchase that started all of this decided to come back and make another purchase. It seems to only do this weird action for the one User. Every other transaction just goes Pending, then they pay and it Completes.
Both purchases now are repeatedly firing - it appears from Paypal changing the status?
This appears to be a customer from Malmback, Sweden, not sure if that makes a difference.
Since this started, I turned email sending off for Pending transactions and it is only working now for Completed.
Upon waking up this morning I have found several more emails confirming the same order, again, even back to the first order that was completed that started this.
I had other customers come in and make purchases, all successful and di not act this way.
I would happily give you credentials for Maintenance in the back office if you wish. I have not found a way to export complete logs of the System Log from within Phoca Cart.
Most of the repetitive logs are as follows:
"Order status changed to: 6(Completed), User: Anonymous"
I am at my wits end, I have tried many different things and come up with a dead-end.
Thanks again,
Nerdy

Re: Paypal keeps firing completed
Hi, I think, this is maybe a question for paypal developers as the request comes from paypal (checked the IP). So the question is why the sends the request repeatedly?

Good question!
It has stopped now. I will reach out to Paypal and see if they can help.
If it would help, reach out to me and I can privately provide access for you to look at my settings, if you think it would help.
I will let you know what Paypal says!
Thank you for your quick responses!
I love all of my Phoca software.

Update: The same two transactions emailed again overnight.
"Order status changed to: 6(Completed), User: Anonymous"
I am currently checking with Paypal.

No resolution to this. Everytime I receive a payment from anywhere other than the United States, I get flooded with emails. I can go in to the backend and kick the person off the website (log them out), then clear the cache and it stops. The latest transaction was France and it sent 8 emails one after another with the same transaction ID.

Hi, hmmm, did you ask by PayPal developers or ask for some logs in PayPal?
