images cut in half

Hello!
After migrating to Joomla 4 the problem with cut images resurfaced.
Phoca 4.5.5
Here is a test website with cut image in full view: http://host1853202.hostland.pro/bahai-f ... ly-tablets Descriptions are not shown either, but category title is shown instead.
And here is a fine working page with Joomla 3 (Phoca 4.4.3): https://bahaiarc.org/bahai-faith/founde ... ly-tablets
Any ideas how to fix it?

Phoca Component:
Options > Detail View > Detail Window (Choose) e.g. > Photoswipe
Options > Detail View > Detail Window > Photoswipe > Display Caption > Title and description or:
> Only Description

BTW: Check, if you are using shape 5 for Joomla 4

Yes, all the settings are as following:
Options > Detail View > Detail Window > Photoswipe
Options > Detail View > Detail Window > Photoswipe > Display Caption > Only Description
But in the detail view only title is shown and the image is cut in half. I don’t know what to do.

Hi, maybe it is in conflict with your template. When you switch to standard template (for test only), do you get the same problem?

Good point! When I switch to Cassiopeia template images are not cut but distorted to fit horizontal layout. And the descriptions are not shown but only title is visible. That is strange behavior because settings set to ‘Display Caption > Only Description’.

Hi,
I wrote to developers of the template and they suggested to change some settings in the template and they added the custom CSS rule to the file css/thirdparty.css
/* Phoca */
.pswp__img {
object-fit: contain;
}

Now images look correct.

I don’t know how to turn descriptions on.
In Phoca component settings are set as following:
Options > Detail View > Detail Window > Photoswipe > Display Caption > Only Description

When I switch to Cassiopeia template descriptions are not shown but only title is visible.

By the way, I’ve noticed that in the Cassiopeia template Phoca slide show doesn’t work as in Shape5 template:

I guess I mixed up pages and gave different addresses. What I meant is that you may see a Phoca Gallery Slideshow in Joomla 3 at:

Same page in Joomla 4 doesn’t show any images in both templates (Shape5 and Cassiopeia):

Hi, now I understand, for now, there is no Phoca Gallery slideshow plugin for Joomla 4 or Joomla 5.
