Phoca Premiere cart/search/whishlist modules

Post by fakemoth »

Hi, please help me understand the template. My intention is to at least make it look like that demo of yours.

Instead when I publish the cart module in the topbar position I get a pretty looking standard module, no icons, no sidebar on click and so on, see the screenshot. Maybe some overrides are missing... or another such thing. Or maybe some class needs to be added somewhere? Some parameters in the template style?

Please point to some available documentation - if there is one, I couldn't find it.

Info: php 8.3, Joomla 5.2.5, Phoca Cart 4.0.11 and all the modules installed.

Hi,
Then you probably haven't installed the template overrides for your template/framework. Phoca does not provide overrides for all templates, but for the most important ones:

Kind regards.

Hi,
The overrides are already included there and are installed automatically. Take another look at the video to see in which order what needs to be installed.

Kind regards,

Yes, it seems so because I do see some files. So what exactly I am supposed to do to just display them as in the demo, that was my question?

PS: I have Phoca Cart 4, should I go for 5RC maybe?

Ok so it seemed that if you want to use the template you need the demo V2 data... which makes it weird for established shops. So I installed it, I got the modules as icons in the topbar.

But I got the following errors during install even if in the first part there seems to be fine:

Code: Select all

@Benno - looked at the difference and the only thing was that the new modules have the "offcanvas" alternative layout... but instead I got DB errors. Restoring now.

Hi, first of all, use the Phoca Cart 5 RC version:
https://www.phoca.cz/download/99-phoca- ... -component

Phoca Premiere is Joomla 5 template and works with Phoca Cart 5. If you have Joomla 5 and Phoca Cart 5, just follow this article:
https://www.phoca.cz/blog/1323-how-to-i ... -demo-data

Thanks @Jan solved it a while ago. Another question - how can I add the modules from the bottom as in your template demo: Best seller products, Most viewed products, Featured products and so on?

I have also a different problem (upgraded today to latest Phoca 5.0.0, great job BTW!): the import button does not work when trying to import a CSV with products. No feedback whatsoever, simply dead. Should I open another thread maybe?

Ah - and I have a partial translation in Romanian mostly of the front-end. But the important bits are covered and figured I should give it to you somehow :)

Also I don't think you remember, we discussed last year via private messages: I sponsored a plugin for a payment system, though for a romanian payment processor. Glad to provide it to you if it helps and can be integrated; or... what would like for people to do with such endeavors? :)
