Hi,
I just tried to upgrade Joomla from 4.3.3 to 4.4.12
So first I updated Phoca Download from 4.0.6 to 5.0.10 and tested Phoca Download with uploading a file, everything worked fine!
Then, I updated Joomla and tested Phoca again, now it's giving me a white screen with the message
"Invalid Token" and there is no file being uploaded.
Can I do something about this, I know how to disable session checking but doesn't seem the right way?
Thanks!

Re: Invalid Token in Phoca Download
Hi, invalid token is standard Joomla feature to check the submitted forms, try to clear the cache (in browser, in Joomla, etc). Where exactly do you get this message?

Re: Invalid Token in Phoca Download
Hi Jan, thanks for the tips. I cleared the Joomla cache and browser cache. Even restarted the server. Tried in a private browser window. No luck however.
When I select a file to upload, I get the message as soon as I push the button 'start upload'
cheers

Re: Invalid Token in Phoca Download
Hi, did you search Joomla forum for "invalid token" term. Maybe there will be some useful tip. Invalid token problems are related to Joomla as Joomla manages the tokens for the form fields. Really hard to say what can be wrong there. Do you use some specific extension (cache, protecting, admin tool, etc.) or some specific system plugin which can somehow influence the output of the website? Such extension can somehow influence this too.

Yes, I did check Joomla forum, it doesn't seem to have an answer to this specific case. The site doesn't have much extensions installed, just Akeeba backup and Phoca Download.

Did you try to search "invalid tokens" topics (without connection to extension)?

Re: Invalid Token in Phoca Download
Now again I did a search on the forum, not related to extension. Couldn't find related posts, a lot of ancient problems. I did deinstall the one and only other extension and libraries (Akeeba). So it's only Phoca Download that is installed now.
Tried in Chrome instead of Firefox. Tried Joomla to log errors but it will not show any. All caching is turned off.
Tried an older PHP version. Tried with and without basic authentication, tried on the live site URL instead of the test URL (all of this should work as it worked before also).
I don't know what else to try, any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Invalid Token in Phoca Download
I really have no clue advice, there is something wrong in the system. Hard to say if this is related to hosting on Joomla itself (I don't have experineces with this type of error). The problem does not come from extension but from the Joomla token feature.
When you enable debug mode and error reporting on the the server and Joomla configuration, do you get any other information there? I don't think so, as invalid token is just returning the string without any error
