Phoca Gallery Image Module Error

I'm pretty sure I posted this yesterday and it's been deleted (autofill seems to indicate that), but in the hopes I'm wrong I'll try again. If it was deleted due to the standard "you should search through the dozens of forum posts that might vaguely be related to this before asking", which I have done, just let me know that's the reason, delete it, and I'll move on to other business.

On using Gallery Image Module v2.5.7beta, with Phoca Gallery v2.6.1 and Joomla 1.5.15 I receive the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method PhocaGalleryImageFront::displayimageornoimage() in /home/www/bressler/modules/mod_phocagallery_image/mod_phocagallery_image.php on line 511

Any advise would be appreciated.

i get the same error! Did you try creating a hidden menu link to the phoca galleries?

that did not work for me but it seems that it's the "normal" fix for this error.

Hi,
with Phoca gallery 2.6 you have to use the plugin 2.6.

Gallery Image Module v2.5.7beta was the newest version I could find of "Phoca Gallery Image Module". If there is a newer one please let me know where to find it and I'll gladly give it a shot.

The listing provided from the public link on this site goes here and shows v2.5.7beta as the latest:

There is another file listed but it's labeled as "Phoca Gallery Random Image Beta". I do not want a random image module. I'd like to have latest images.

Yes, the names on the site are incorrect! The "random image" module listed there is actually the one we have to download.

I see... I'm not sure ( because I'm still using 2.5.8 on my site), but i think these two modules do the same (you can set it to random, latest,...).

You could just try the other one on your testsite - or wait for an answer from Jan. Sorry i can't help you any further than this
