Hi again,
Did the upgrade to 1.7.0, by the way I also like your update function which saves me some work.
But I think I have to go back to 1.6.8, got this error as soon as I click on a thumbnail to get a large picture and start a slideshow:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in .../components/com_phocagallery/views/detail/view.ht ml.php on line 155.
Anyone else having this problem? I am running Joomla! 1.5 stable.
Edit: Also there seems to be something wrong with your ACL iin 1.7.0. The tree still shows galleries that shoud be unaccessible, when clicking on such a branch my own ACL stops the access while previously it was your ACL that kicked in.

Quick work, Jan! Dow
Quick work, Jan! Downloaded again, installed again and upgraded again, did not take many minutes. And the error is gone!
Any thoughts on the tree module? Not vitally important to me, but interesting anyway.

Did you re-saved it.
Did you re-saved it... There is 'No' but if you don't click on 'Save' again, it will be not saved into a database and it will not work... This is because of uprading (the version before didn't have this parameter)... So if is nothing in database, the global configuration from XML file will be taken (and this is set to 'Yes')

I take back what I wrote about your ACL, more careful testing proves it still works correctly. But the tree still shows the branches that are "privately owned".
In my site I have so far just three "privately owned" galleries, but if this concept becomes popular I guess all my users wiill want their private gallery.

So I must take a loo
So I must take a look at it, because it works for me (localhost) and on my demo site too:
On the following site, you can see the private Category: 'Austrian Alps reg' - it is displayed in COMPONENT tree (enabled) but not displayed in MODULE tree (disabled) ...
https://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery/demo/i ... categories
