Adsense in joomla header

Post by jikanv »

Hi. I had installed Phoca Adsense Easy because it's supposed to be able to put an adsense ad in the header of the page, but I was not able to do it.
The installation was smooth but when I paste the code and mark header as the place I want it in, it does not show up. Is this some sort of bug or am I doing something wrong here?
The documentation basically non existent for this module. Consist of a name and two lines of instructions. Does anyone know if this works at all for headers? Ohh and to top it off I have installed Phoca's own Phoca Wallpapers template and still couldn't have adsense ad running on it..
I am using Joomla 1.5
Thanx for some help.

Hi, it is a module which is displayed on module position. But the module position needs to be existing in your template. Check if selected module "header" exists on your template and if it is viewable, etc.

Try to select e.g. right or left to see if this will work. Check if the module is published.

Thanx for the quick eply, but I am new to joomla and have no idea what is a header position module. You mean the template would need to have a header section already built into it?
On your own template Phoca Wallpapers the demo shows an adsense ad but yet I couldn't put it there. What did I do wrong? I assume that one has a header module built in since you are showing an adsense ad there. Can you please explain it. Thanx a lot

Hi, you should see what are the positions in template and paste it to your selected postion, see:

https://www.phoca.cz/wallpapers/index.php?tp=1

The TP attribute displays module positions in Joomla!
