Feature Request - Phoca Gallery

Hello,

im new in this forum. For that reason firstly I want to tell you that I love phoca gallery . Its in this state already a nice gallery and I think it will grow to the best gallery for Joomla.

Ive a feature request:

Is it possible to give the genereated thumbnails a fixed size?
I want some thumbnails which are 50x50 pixels, really 50x50 and not something rezised depending on the image format.
It would be cool if the thumbnailgenerator only take a detail of the photo (for example at 100% zoom) and bring this in the fixed size.

I hope somebody understand my bad english.
I would be very cool if this feature will be integrated in some of the next versions.

Ok and Ive another question is it possible to display the image name above the image in the lightbox?? That would be also very good.

Hi, it depends on you which original images you add into a gallery, Phoca Gallery doesn't cut images and dosn't deform images, so if the original image is e.g. 1024x760, the thumbnail cannot be 50x50 because in this case the image will be deformed... But if you add original image e.g. 1000x1000, you get the full thumbnail in 50x50 ...

There is no parameter to display image name in detail view , but you can write it into a description...

no yet this will take a month of work because all framework must be overwritten ... everywhere in the framework, where the thumbnails creation will called must be added new parameter, then the thumbnail creating method must be reworked... ....
