Hello
I am new in this forum. First, sorry for my bad english level, I am French. I try to understand my problem in the forum and faq and manual without success. I use Phoca Gallery with joomla 1.5.3 and 1.5.2.
When I put the parameter Modal Popup Box, it doesn't run. In frontend, I have the slide Modal Popup Box in all my page and the button close doesn't run.
I change the parameters. I put parameters of the size of front modal popup box a little bigger than the size of the large image but it still doesn't run.
I hope my english explanation can be understood and someone can help me because I have seen the demo of phoca gallery and it seems to me be a very good gallery with beautiful effects but what's a shame if I can use this effects.
Thank you for your component and your help.
Sylvie

Re: Modal Popup Box
Hi, it seems like your template doesn't load the modal box (css or javascript) correctly Try to change the template (for testing)

Sorry I can't respond before and thank you very much for your response!!! Efectively I change the template in default and I have seen that with some templates the modal box runs and with others no. I want to keep my first template so I would know how can I change the code css javascript for the modal box runs.
I see in one of your message you said that the person can compare the code link css and javascript
but I try with the rhuk_milkyway template and I have the same problems as with my template.(No because I don't know templates, I only know what I should send to framework (modal css or javascript), but don't know where can be the problem, why some templates doesn't load some framework's parts... See if your template contain the css link to system.css, try to compare your template with standard template (e.g. rhuk_milkyway), maybe you find some difference. You should look at:
loading CSS - link to css
loading Javascript - link to scripts

Hi!
I have seen in your forum the demo with the template phoca nature. I have downloaded this template to try it and I have the same problem so I don't understand because in the demo there isn't any problem.

Re: Modal Popup Box
so the problem is somewhere else as in the template, but where
If you have enabled SEF, try to disable it
- maybe some URL creating doesn't work on your site, compare the urls on other joomla sites (e.g. the url to css or javascript)

Hi !
Thank you very much for your quickly response. I have seen that Sef can be caused problems so I have disabled it before. I think there is a problem with the modal box of joomla. So I will try to install joomla another time.
I will say you if it will run or no.

Re: Modal Popup Box
It seems we have the same problem sylvy, its not the SEF but you are experiencing this problem because the .js is still in your cash i guess.
It has to do with the javascript from the template you are using.
Take an look at:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1015
I've got the same thing.
