Display sub-category items like category items

Hello,

I would like display sub-category items in the same view as the category items. The category items show a list of sub-category items with a little thumbnail and the title. And when we clic in a sub-category item, the next list is different. This 2nd list show only th thumbnails of each sub-category, and doesn't show the sub-category title. How can I put this list of sub-categories as the same aspect as the lis of categories... Is it possible?

Jan, I would like this feature to be possible too. It would solve some problems for me (related to the folder names or pictures etc etc).

instead of grouping galleries

Hi, both views (category list - categories view, image list - category view) are very different. In category view the folders (categories) are taken as images but in categories view the categories are categories, so I think new view must be written, but I cannot say I will do it, because this take a lot of time which I don't have now ...

Well, then I hope you'll implement it once in the future..

I'm more interested in pagination - option to put some number of galleries on one page, and the others on other pages. Hope this will become reality sooner

OK, too bad it isn't possible - but I got the ordering instead of random images, so my folders are sort of visible... I'll have to take some time to get all the names right (and Joomfish stable should be available - but that's something else).

For this year, it'll work like this

I thought that possibility maybe would have a simple solution, like for example, a few lines of code in some php file, somewhere in phocagallery component. At the moment I put the "tree" plugin side by side with the phoca thumbnails and the result is great. Anyway I'll hope that phoca team will have free time to implement this feature ...
