Personalising the emails

Hi Jan,
Is it possible to add in personal user details from the database? ie name, date of birth etc... I have a modified database and send out emails weekly to volunteers who will come to work with our foundation. It would be a huge saving of time if I can automate their details (start date, programme etc)... I'm not expecting a detailed explanation, just would like to know if it's possible, and if so, where do I start?

Hi, not sure what you exactly mean, you can send emails to users stored in your Joomla! but Phoca Email does not manage the contacts, so there is no places to somehow change or add new information.
