A file only linked from within content is not shown

Hi,

I installed Phoca Download 2.1.7 on Joomla 2.5.8 and plan to organize pdf files with this system. Every plugin is installed and published (see list below).

Creating a menu item of type list of files: works fine
Creating a menu item of type single file: works fine

Creating links in the content:
- type category view: works fine
- type file view to file with assigned menu item: works fine
BUT:
- type file view without menu item: result set is empty, no file displayed

The file is exisiting and when changing the assignement of menu item, also this file is shown.
>> SO: a file linked from within content is not shown, if not assigned to a menu item!

Is there anything I forgot?

My system:
- Joomla 2.5.8
- Component Phoca Download 2.1.7
- Plugin Phoca Download 2.1.6
- Plugin Finder Categories 1.0.0
- Plugin Finder Files 1.0.0
- Plugin Download Button 2.1.4

Dear Jan,
thank you for your reply. But I think, that will not solve my problem. I have no problem to get a SEF link. My problem is that no file is found at the end of this link (although it's there).

Hi, the article does not describe only the SEF problem but the problem of creating right links

On that site, I see no problem
