Hi everyone!

Hi everyone!

Yeah...Sorry...just locked my own post...so...again:

Perhaps I'm simply a little bit dumb, but is there any possibility to get the modal box change with the size of a picture. This would be a great function, because I tend to use pictures of differenz sizes in one article. But to have a 600*600 lightbox for a 120*120 image seems a little bit oversized to me. Is there any way. I did take a look in the PHP of the code - and didn't get any wiser .

Any ideas? Thx very much!

Hi, there is a way but very difficult ... via changing PHP - but you cannot set e.g. the box + 30px greater than the image... It must be changed the link in categories view, then the detail view too, there are other parameters too which you must watch too

- display/hide buttons in detail view
- display/hide description in detail view
- what about more pictures in detail view - if you click on next and the next images will be smaller/greater than the previous
- what about slideshow
- and and...

Just conluded, that I'll use Phoca for what it is - a nice and useful gallery - and show content-related images at the end auf an article. I've no real solution for images in the paragraphs but with the automatic thumbnail creation it's still much more efficient than uploading a image and the thumb sepreratly.

By the way - a plugin for the JCE WYSIWYG would be just spiffing *g*.

Thanks for such a great component!!!

I don't have any idea how JCE works... The Phoca Gallery plugin, which works under TinyMCE doesn't work for JCE?

Sorry - that's a misunderstanding!

The Plugin works just fine (besides little problems with justified paragraphs, but that's perhaps a JCE problem).

I'd like to have a "mousedriven" GUI for the plugin where you can choose the parameters you wish to add (a bit like the old "mosimage").

You know what i'm talking about?

Picture this. You're writing an article. Now you have three pictures you want to show in different paragraphs. Let's say first float left, second floats right and has the name of the picture shown and the third links to all pictures of one gallery. My point is, that you have to write the "command" into the text {phocagallery... }. If there would be an interface where you could choose all the parameters in textboxes (e. g. lineheight of the description or imageid) or radiobuttons (e. g. show details on and off etc.) writing an article would be a pleasure! I know it's certainly difficult - but with such a feature Phoca would certainly be the best image tool ever made.

Yeah you're right - that would be the worst thing to do. But what about a javascript popup? You fill the fields with the parameters and the script generates the commandstring afterwards and puts it into the text at the cursor position? Perhaps I'll take a look into this...*rambling*

Thx anyway!

This would be really a great thing to have, as the options to all the phoca gallery plugins are too much to remember!

Jan, it's similar in tinyMCE 2.0 editor. It has a "Insert/Edit image" Button that opens a dialog for entering all the img settings. After pressing OK, it inserts all the HTML into the article at cursor postition. Give it a try. 8)

And now imagine a similar button for phoca plugins, that collects user input for the plugin parameter and inserts the plugin syntax right...

BTW: Thanks for all your prolific dialogs and answers in this forum, Jan!
