Phoca Download 3.0.5 Errors creating folders and loading fil

I have used Phoca Download 2.1.9 for Joomla 2.5 successfully and have some familiarisation with it. I have just tried to use version 3.0.5 for Joomla 3 but have 2 problems after installation and successful creation of categories.

1. I cannot create folder in the phocdownload directory - I get error COM_PHOCADOWNLOAD_INVALID_TOKEN
2. I cannot upload files via the control panel>files utility - this results in "Error unable to upload file"

I have unistalled and reinstalled a number of times, checked directory permissions and also cleaned left over in the database and file system between unistall and reinstall but still get the same errors. I can find no similar problems in this version on the forum and am unable to move forward disappointingly. Any help much appreciated for a component I have been happy with until now.

Hi,

1) invalid toke mostly means, there is some problem in browser (in the area of sessions/cookies)
2) what you exactly mean with control panel>files utility?

1) I have no other problems at all in Joomla 3 with sessions or cookies and therefore have no reason to believe this is the potential cause of the Phoca Download problems.
2) I mean Components>Phoca Download>Files ie the Phoca Doanload Control Panel

Is there any further help you can suggest please?

Some further information which may help identify the problem:

If I manually create the folders in phocadownload and upload any files via FTP I can then use the remainder of the functionality perfectly OK e.g. reference files, categorise files etc and the product then does as I require. The issues are simply I cannot create folders or upload files through the phocadownload component in the Joomla backend.

Hmmm, creating files or folders in Phoca Download is done with help of JFile and JFolder functions (standard Joomla! functions) - they access the filesystem by method which is set in Options (standard script method or FTP layer) - Are you able to create e.g. folder in media manager of Joomla!?
