Phoca maps french translation for joomla 1.6[solved]

Hi, i am translating phocamaps to french:
fr-FR.com_phocamaps
fr-FR.com_phocamaps.sys

but in frontend there is no translation displayed
"COM_PHOCAMAPS_FROM_ADDRESS" instead " Point de départ"

what's wrong? is there something need to be setup?

Hi, did you copy the file to frontend langauge folder, is your french enabled for frontend too?

Hi Jan, yes french frontend language is enable but still problem.Have you mail where i can send you files for testing on your host?

Hi, in your translation there was unclosed string:

COM_PHOCAMAPS_N_ITEMS_CHECKED_IN_MORE="%d items

After changning it to:
COM_PHOCAMAPS_N_ITEMS_CHECKED_IN_MORE="%d items"

it is ok with the translation.

Unfortunatelly, Joomla! 1.6 does not debug for missing " and does not display the whole translation in case something is missing
