Floom module image sizes

Hello everyone,

I am using the Floom module and it is working as expected... almost. There is an issue with the image sizes that the Floom modules displays.

My Slideshow width and height are assigned to 970 and 250 respectively, and the images at the Category ID being displayed are exactly of that size (970X250)

However, when the Floom module displays the images it seems that it is first reducing their size and then displaying them. The result of this is the images showed in a tile/mosaic/repetitive style which looks awful.

How can I avoid the module from reducing the size of the images?

Just an update.
Forgot to mention I am using Joomla 1.6

The images are being rezised to 640x160.
I have a similar problem with the Noob module, where the images appear cutted, so I see half of one picture and half of another... I wish to use either Floom or Noob module buth those are failing

Hi, you need to do a specific category for the floom or noob and set exactly the size to fit your site widht, create thumbnails and then e.g. set the parameters of size back to standard images.
