Slideshow background color

I have the slideshow plugin installed on a client's site. The background of the page is a pale blue color. When the slideshow opens there is a white background behind each picture that I cannot seem to change. I tried adding |background =#EDF7F7 to the plugin line and it did not change.

I tried the techniques listed here:

and it did not change the background color either.

Any ideas how I can change this color to match the page background?

Hi, background is needed to cover previous image, see similar posts wehre I have added information about in which javascript file is this located.
