Hello,
Its a bit of a mixed question on Template/GalleryTree/Joomla-basics.
On my site i'm using a main Template from Joomlart, because we wanted a newspaper kind template. Works fine.
But fir displaying our photogallery that is in Phoca we prefer to use a clean template from Phoca as Wallpapers2.
From my main menu i'm having an alias to a new menu that show an into article and a link back to the main menu.
Beneath that menu i'm having the Gallery-Tree module.
All working perfect.
But when we select a gallery from the tree the gallery is displayed but the site pops back to the main menu, with the Joomlart Template.
So we only see the main menu and the gallery itself.
How should i configure what component so that the gallery shows up within this 'subsite', smaal menu+tree+Wallpapers2 template ?
Kind Regards

Hi, the tree menu module does not have any itemid, it should get it from menu link to gallery, then it should get the same settings like menu link to gallery

Re: How to keep GalleryTree in the template
Jan,
SEF is not enabled on my site.
How can i tell the tree module that the component has to 'run' on a given position in a given template ?
Tomorrow i will have a test-site on a online place ...

Hi, the tree links, e.g.:
http://www.dewildegoele.be/?option=com_ ... &id=1:2012
get no Itemid, which means, there is no menu link to phoca gallery, so they get one, such menu link needs to be added (see the article above)
