link in content (article)

Post by cbrace »

First, my thanks for this very fine Joomla extension, about which I've heard many good things. I just downloaded and installed it. I also installed the Editor Button plugin.

First I added a document. Then I tried to link to this document in an article using the editor button. This is what appears:

Code: Select all

{phocadownload view=file|id=1|text=Fiber aid for Africa|target=s}
However, when I close the editor, this code is displayed literally. I was hoping to see an HTML link. Did I miss a step here?

I was hoping that I could
  • select a string of text in the editor
  • turn it into a link to a document stored in Phoca Download
Does Phoca Download offer this functionality?

Hi Jan,

If I got to the Plugin Manager, I only see one Phoca plugin installed: the Phoca Download Button Plugin.

Under the Components menu, Phoca Download is installed.

Do I need to install an additional component?

Thanks.

Edit: Found it: https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/3 ... oad-plugin

Thanks and sorry to take up your time ;)
