Download does not start

Hi,
Thee uploaded files show nicely on the website page I created in the categories. But after clicking an item to download, the download does not start; instead a new empty page opens.
All settings are on "public"

Hi, empty page mostly means a php error, what if you enable php error reporting? Do you get some error message or if you look to your erroLog on your server?

Thanks Jan,

I am sorry, I cannot find any php error in the list.
Could it be an other problem. To be precise: the downloadable files all show very well in the page. Only when selected and clicked on, an empty page appears with the text.
So perhaps there is an other error. Perhaps I have made a mistake in the settings?

Hi, can I see the site where this occurs? Check the limits on the server, maybe there is some limit preventing downloading files
